Promia was created with the goal of researching, developing, manufacturing, and marketing microbial-based Zero Residue biostimulants. We offer alternative tools to chemical synthesis formulations for the fruit and vegetable sector.
Our team has more than 25 years of experience in the sector (Zero Residue), which supports and adds credibility to our company, guaranteeing quality, traceability, and effectiveness in our formulations.
Strains deposited at CECT (Spanish Type Culture Collection).
We investigate and analyze each microorganism, identifying its activity, function, and purpose depending on our clients' demands or market needs.
Our company offers a wide range of formulations and/or live microorganism consortia with a 90-95% load of primary-secondary metabolites, making up our Zero Residue product portfolio; complying with strict ECO standards and always prioritizing Environmental and Economic Sustainability for producers.
All backed by ECO and DEMETER Certifications according to the needs and requirements of our industrial clients.
We have Technical Support and Partnerships with two departments of Research, Identification, Development, Fermentation, and Manufacturing. This way, we analyze and determine the appropriate carrier for each formulation, ensuring stability for at least one year per registration regulations and improving field effectiveness.
We have a human team with over 25 years of experience in microbiology applied to different sectors: pharmaceutical, cosmetics, livestock, and agriculture.
In our microbiology labs, we identify Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic microorganisms using next-generation Molecular Techniques.
Isolation is one of our key services, and allowing us to identify microorganisms, analyze their actions and the metabolites from their fermentation found in any type of soil, plant species (Endophytes), algae, and other living organisms.
Biostimulation, Biocontrol, Soil Regeneration, Probiotics, Prebiotics, Endophytes.
Present in any type of substrate, soil, or plant material.
Identifying in the lab the primary and secondary metabolites of each fungus/bacteria.
Stability and viability of the formulation for at least two years.
Formulations complying with Eco Demeter standards.
Quality traceability to the end consumer.
Efficacy dossier of each formulation tested in the field by an accredited external lab.
Promia has its own strain bank. In collaboration with other companies, it has over 150 identified strains.
From this pool, a series of species (yeasts - fungi - rhizobacteria - lactic acid bacteria) have been selected to manufacture different formulations, either in consortia or separately.
This depends on the action or objective sought in the crop.
